Bezos was willing to waive over $2 billion to secure a dual contract along with Musk’s SpaceX but NASA’s decision was not in his favour. Most recently, Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin sued the US government over its decision to award a massive Moon exploration contract to its competitor SpaceX.
Situations often turn hostile with them over their rockets and their different plans of space exploration. Even though Bezos traveled to space before Musk did, NASA picked Musk’s SpaceX over Bezos’s Blue Origin. Both Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk are competitive, and although Musk has proved himself to be a hallmark name in space exploration, it can be predicted that Bezos is now not much far behind. SpaceX beat out Blue Origin for NASA’s lunar lander contract earlier this year. Over the past few years, Blue Origin and SpaceX have clashed several times over different issues. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk simply shared two ‘rolling on the floor laughing’ emojis to respond to the post, implying his agreement. “Hey Elon, Can I Copy Your Homework?” he wrote as caption as he posted the photograph, suggesting that Blue Origin New Glenn copied SpaceX’s Starship, which also lands vertically. Twitter user SpaceXMasterrace shared a screenshot of the Ars Technica article, showing a picture of the prototype tank as it was rolled out at Launch Complex 36 in Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Then people began to notice similarities between the rocket and SpaceX’s Starship rocket. While the unofficial image created a stir on Twitter, many believed the tank looked remarkably familiar.

This Tuesday, photographs of Blue Origin’s first stainless steel tank, a part of the company’s efforts to develop a fully reusable upper stage for its New Glenn rocket, came to the public eye in photos published by Ars Technica. He responded with two laughing emojis to a meme claiming Blue Origin copied SpaceX while designing its vertical landing spacecraft.
Musk is known also for his lively presence on the microblogging platform, Twitter. The internet thinks that Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin copied SpaceX while designing its vertical landing spacecraft and Elon Musk might agree.
